Humacao - Aníbal González and Priscilla Meléndez, a married couple of Puerto Rican scholars living in Connecticut, left Puerto Rico - each one on their own - more than 40 years ago. They met, fell in love, married, and became successful professionals in areas of the United States, where, according to him, “it is rare to be Puerto Rican.”
