The funds required for improvements to the AES Puerto Rico plant in Guayama to extend its operations from 2027 to 2032, in line with the current administration’s public energy policy, would come from a tariff adjustment whose amount would be determined in the negotiations to amend the co-generator’s contract, acknowledged Energy Czar Josué Colón.
