Washington, D.C. - The chairman of the U.S. House Agriculture Committee, Republican Glenn “GT” Thompson, believes that the government of Puerto Rico can initiate a transition to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) without legislation passed by Congress.
