Federal Judge Laura Taylor Swain concluded that Power Expectations’ claim seeking to bar the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) from entering into temporary generation contracts has little likelihood of prevailing because it could potentially conflict with provisions of the PROMESA law. She therefore denied the expedited relief sought by the company.
