In a scenario of climate change that will continue to reduce annual rainfall, the Aqueducts and Sewers Authority (PRASA) faces the challenge of guaranteeing the long-term water supply for the island, which requires correcting operational deficiencies that cause, among other things, the loss of almost two-thirds of its production.
