The Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) asked federal judge Raúl Arias Marxuach to dismiss the lawsuit filed by the company Power Expectations—which seeks to reinstate the controversial temporary generation contract—or, alternatively, to refer the case to the office of Judge Laura Taylor Swain, who presides over Title III proceedings under the PROMESA Act.
