After a process of analysis and public hearings, the Senate Judiciary Committee favored the approval of the judicial reform bill, but proposed —as part of its evaluation— to eliminate the creation of the “Patronato del Poder Judicial” and establish a five-year experience requirement for judges of the Court of First Instance.
