Since the end of 2017, when Hurricane Maria passed through Puerto Rico, students on the island, both at the school and university level, have gone through a myriad of stressors, including earthquakes, the pandemic and having to take classes remotely from their computers. This could provoke depression, as well as high levels of stress or anxiety, among others.
