Rosselló Willing to Amend the Plan if It Benefits the Island

Governor Ricardo Rosselló Nevares asked the Oversight Board to make decisions based on reliable data, while the federal entity gave him 48 hours to fix the plan

Although he feels confident in his figures, Governor Ricardo Rosselló Nevares said yesterday that his technical team, along with their counterparts in the Oversight Board, is ready to examine the data that resulted in the Board’s rejection of the Fiscal Plan for Puerto Rico (FPPR). He also opened the door for any amendments, if it is determined to be necessary and would result in more beneficial changes for the population.
