Emphasizing that Puerto Rico, as a jurisdiction, has reduced cases of fraud involving Medicaid, Gov. Jenniffer González and Resident Commissioner Pablo José Hernández said Friday that they will use “these same data” to demonstrate the need to extend funding for the program that covers 1.3 million people on the island, as they unveiled the preliminary report they will present jointly before Congress.
